Description

The TUBULUS Concentus Ethernet Cable V2 is based on pure silver conductors. These are solid core conductors to minimize strand interaction, which is a major source of distortion.

The conductors are surrounded by mainly air, because (next to a vacuum) air is the best dielectric. This air insulation is made possible by our unique Quad Star Tube Construction which can only be made by hand. With this Quad Star Tube Construction the silver wires are held firmly into place to prevent the wires from vibrating freely in the air.

With a special thermo-process the silver conductors are restructured at a molecular level to reach a quality close to mono crystal silver. The conductors are also twisted with a high twist rate for the purposes of cancelling out electromagnetic interference (EMI).

To preserve signal integrity the conductors are individually shielded. An overall shield and thick copper braiding completes this shielding so that a 100% coverage is guaranteed.

To prevent radio frequency interference (RFI) from modulating the ground reference skin effect filtering is applied to the shield. This is a very effective way to eliminate noise and RFI before it reaches the component.

The TUBULUS Concentus Ethenet Cable V2 is finished with shielded RJ45 plugs which are soldered with silver containing solder. All this makes it an unique ethernet cable.

The TUBULUS Concentus Ethernet Cable V2 is available in a 100Mbps and a 10Gbps version. The 10Gbps version is also designed for i2s (LVCMOS) signal transport and can be used as a i2s cable between streamers/cd playes and DAC’s with a RJ45 i2s connection.
