DENAFRIPS calls the Arcas a streamer but it shines as a Roon EndPoint / HQP NAA device providing an i2s bridge to a DAC where the signal pulsated by Arcas high end quuality OXCO clocks powered by DENAFRIPS' renowned power supply and attention to details. Roon users should really take note on this product for the huge gain in sound quality. Back to the streamer part, it's a capable file player pulling files from a NAS or USB drive.

Limitation(s):

  • The Android-exclusive app is currently under development and improving as time goes. For now or even forever the playback experience for local files is basic and no bells and whistles. 
  • We strongly suggest the Arcas streamer for individuals using Roon for huge gain in sound quality.
